Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County always have a need for caring adults who want to share their talents, skills, and education with young people ages 6-18. We are a CBO (Community Benefit Organization) dedicated to molding young people into productive caring citizens and leaders.  We hope you can help.

Become a Committee Volunteer

If you enjoy planning special events and want to help our organization by becoming involved in fundraising then we welcome you to participate in the planning and implementation of a special event.

Volunteers at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County are required to go through our screening process.  This process will give you an idea of how the club functions and help us learn about you and your reasons for volunteering.

To begin the application process, please:

  • SCREENING – Fill out the volunteer application form, and return it in person to our administrative office at 540 N. Augusta, Fresno, CA 93701.

  • PLACEMENT – After screening and approval,  an interview with a Unit Director will be required and will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions and determine your availability.

  • VISIT A CLUB – At this time, you will be able to tour a club where you would like to volunteer.  You will learn about the various programs and the daily schedules.  In addition, you will have an opportunity to meet some of the members.

If you have questions please contact Joanne Calhoun, our volunteer coordinator here.
