The Arts

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County implements these initiatives to help young people enhance self-expression and creativity, develop multicultural appreciation, provide exposure to and develop skills in crafts and visual, performing and literary arts.  Programs in this area enable youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts, crafts, performing arts and creative writing.

Arts & Crafts

Every Club offers arts & crafts as a way for members to explore creative self-expression.  Here are some examples of the fun crafts members get to create: handmade crafts, ceramics, sewing, drawing, sketches, and craft jewelry.

Image Makers

Image Makers is a photography program for all ages.  Members learn about photography and practice black & white, color, angle, filters and the photography process.   Members use photos for display, art contests, and scrapbooking.
